Fall 2020 UC Davis TAG Requirements

河北快3投注网站The UC Davis Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) is a written agreement that guarantees admission to UC Davis in a specific major from any California community college (CCC).


Apply for a TAG

  1. Use the (TAP) to start your TAG application.
  2. Review it with your
  3. Submit the TAG application Sept. 1–30 via the UC TAP.
  4. Submit the , Nov. 1–30.
  5. Fulfill all remaining coursework and GPA requirements as outlined in your TAG agreement.

Meet the following TAG requirements

Enrollment

河北快3投注网站At the time you apply for a UC Davis TAG:

  • You must currently be enrolled at a CCC.
  • You must have been enrolled at a CCC for the spring term prior to applying for a UC Davis TAG.
  • You must plan to enroll at a CCC for all academic terms prior to your transfer date.
TIP: Full-time enrollment is strongly recommended to be best prepared for the rigors of UC Davis. Students who are enrolled part-time for any of the above terms should provide additional insight in the Additional Comments section of the TAG application.


Units

  • Minimum 30 UC-transferable semester-units (45 UC-transferable quarter-units)

Completed by the end of spring term prior to transfer:

  • Minimum 60 UC-transferable semester-units (90 UC-transferable quarter-units)
  • Minimum 30 UC-transferable semester-units (45 UC-transferable quarter-units) of overall units must be from a CCC

UC-transferable course GPA

Completed by the time of TAG application:

  • Earn at least a 3.20 GPA for all majors in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and in the College of Biological Sciences.
  • Earn at least a 3.20 GPA for all majors in the College of Letters and Science. Computer Science applicants for fall 2021 must achieve a minimum 3.40 GPA.
  • Earn at least a 3.30 GPA for all majors in the College of Engineering. Applicants for fall 2021 must achieve a minimum 3.40 GPA.
  • Meet any additional GPA requirements for selective major courses.


UCE, UCM and 7-course pattern

Completed or in progress at time of TAG application:

  • Minimum two English composition courses (UCE)
  • Mathematical concepts and quantitative reasoning course completed (UCM)

  • Arts and Humanities (UCH)
  • Social and Behavioral Sciences (UCB)
  • Physical and Biological Sciences (UCS)

Situations precluding eligibility

  • Students who are concurrently enrolled in high school at the time of TAG submission
  • Students who are concurrently enrolled or planning to enroll concurrently at any colleges or universities other than a CCC during the final academic year
  • Students who have already earned a bachelor, graduate and/or professional degree
  • Students who previously enrolled at UC Davis during a regular term (excluding summer)

Selective major course requirements

Certain majors are considered selective and have additional requirements for all applicants. TAG requirements may exceed these selective major course requirements—both selective major and TAG requirements must be satisfied. Complete selective major course requirements as outlined by the end of spring term prior to transfer. It is recommended that candidates achieve minimum required GPAs for courses in the groups or series below that have been completed at the time of application.
